Finally an update!

Sorry it's been so long since we have last updated but things have been crazy around the Russell household! We are only 6 weeks away from our precious little Reece's arrival! So as you can imagine we are waiting anxiously! Rainer turns THREE this coming Saturday and he is so excited about getting to go with his daddy to the Alabama football game. He has asked every morning for the past month if today is the day. He is such a joy and so much fun ....I will definitely keep you posted on how that goes!

We have made many trips this summer and our last trip was to see our dear friends Will, Leigh, Jane & Phelps Young in their home town of Charolette, NC. As you can imagine we had a wonderful time visiting but pretty sure that Rainer and "Baby Jane" had the best time of all! Thanks guys for having us and can't wait for our next visit!

We were able to make time for the zoo and this zoo was an interesting one....it's one you can drive your car through! It was really neat and exciting for us all!

Poor Phelps....he wasn't real sure what to think but he was such a great sport!

During Wednesday's visit to the library Aunt Cat came to help with crafts! Needless to say Rainer loves his mask! We've have been wearing it 24/7.....Thanks Aunt Cat!

It has been a while since our last update but we have been extremely busy.  It is wedding season and we are in full swing. But want to share a few recent photos.  They are random but that is how it goes around here.

Trip to the Zoo!!!

 The past two weekends we have spent in Birmingham. So John and I decided that we would take Rainer along and take him to the zoo considering he wants to go every other day! He of course loved it! As we were walking out he looked up at me and said "Mommy I want to go back to the Zoo..." Really!! We just left-haha!! He is so much fun these day!

 This is not the zoo even though it may look like it... Headed to the pool for the first time this season!

His favorite people...Nanny and KK took him to a carnival in Tuscaloosa where the Tumbling bus was there.

 MeMa' check out his table!! He got his own table from MeMa for Christmas and Santa brought him some chairs. This has been great because we are now a "big boy" and can do everything on our own these days!!
